Home Access Syllabus Tools for Sentence Variety English 10B Testing Out Sadlier Vocabulary Workshop Level E. (English 10A words & English 10B words) Listen to the words used in sentences. In addition, students can practice with over a dozen games to learn the vocabulary words. Click on Vocabulary Workshop Level E to access the games, which I highly recommend students do each week to solidify their attainment of these words. Here are some other ideas for practicing the vocabulary. This trimester we will be reading Shakespeare's Julius Caesar in class. You can access the original text alone as well as the original next to a modern version of the text through No Fear Shakespeare. Julius Caesar complete text Julius Caesar No Fear Shakespeare Students will also read A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer outside of class. We will work on writing skills in response to the literature as well as in response to persuasive writing prompts similar to those found on the PLAN that sophomores take in March and the ACT that juniors also take in March each year. We will also work on increasing writing style through tools for sentence variety with a continued focus on parallelism and various types of phrases and clauses as well as rhetorical skills.
